Profile Description

Eunice Njoki hails from Eldoret Town from a family of four and later settled in Kiambu County where she got married. The mother of three attended Township Primary School in Eldoret and later proceeded to Wareng Secondary School where she did not manage to sit for her KCSE exams due to lack of school. She later enrolled to an adult learning centre where she managed to register and sit for her KCSE exams as a private candidate. She has pursued various diplomas including a diploma course in Cosmetology in Nakuru Vera Beauty College, Diploma in Theology in Kenya Ministry Training Institute and Diploma in Leadership in Clarence Matheny Ministries. Her motivation to vie is to help the residents in her ward attain economic empowerment and ensure that they are able to access quality public services. She envisions the Gitothua Ward residents access quality healthcare and quality education to enable them to become productive in the community.

Eunice is currently a chairlady of Love Sisters Women Group where they carry out table banking and utilize the contributions for investment projects. She is also a chairlady of Deliverance church Christian community for her estate where they are able to church development projects.  She also served as a student leader in Kenya Ministry Training Institute where she was in charge of outreach activities in the college and also mobilizing the students in environmental conservation activities.

Development Agenda:

Youth Empowerment

Upon completion of college and universities, a myriad of youth idle at the estates due to lack of employment and some end up indulging in abuse of alcohol and other illicit brews. This renders the youth unproductive in the community. When elected, Eunice hopes to reform the youth through rehabilitation and facilitation of capacity building training for the youth to instil entrepreneurial skills. She aims at lobbying for the establishment of a recreation centre in the ward to help nurture the talents of the youth.


Public health facilities in Gitothua ward lack sufficient drugs and proper medical laboratories services due to lack of modern medical equipment. Occasional some public health facilities are affected by leakages that are not proper mitigated. Once elected, Eunice aims at lobby the county government to ensure that installation of modern medical equipment in the facilities is facilitated and supply of sufficient drugs. She also hopes to lobby for allocation of funds towards repair and maintenance in the public health facilities.


With the occasional water shortage in Gitothua ward, residents seek services of water vendors who in turn exploit the residents. Eunice hopes to lobby the county government to ensure that every household receives piped water to help ease the burden of buying water from water vendors.
